CPSRAB hears appeals of complaints that have been investigated by Kalamazoo Public Safety’s Office of Professional Standards. If you would like to file a complaint or commendation related to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, you can do so here.
File an Appeal
Following the investigation of a citizen complaint and a finding by the Chief of Public Safety, the complaintant may appeal the Chief’s findings to the City Manager. These appeals are heard by CPSRAB, which then prepares a report and makes a recommendation to the City Manager to either sustain or reverse the Chief’s Finding.
